Corporate Structure

JBS United is organized into four operating divisions:

Emerging Technologies Division

Research Beakers

  • Actively involved in the discovery, development and commercialization of specialty products for the animal industries.

  • Our staff of experts includes a team of scientists with decades of experience in a variety of areas related to animal sciences including nutrition, enzyme technologies, reproduction, microbiology, and genetics.

  • Responsible for the marketing of products to large pig producers, poultry producers and the equine industry.

  • Joint ventures with Phytex, Pennatek, and United BioNutrition.


Nutrition Division

Corn and Test Beaker

  • Provides animal nutrition products and technology for mid-sized and large pig producers, as well as, dairy producers in selected markets.

  • Operates six company-owned production locations throughout the U.S. focusing on pre-mix and base-mix products.

  • Develops research-based products and technology at our own proprietary research facilities to improve animal nutrition and livestock production profitability. Customers, end-consumers and the environment all benefit from JBS United's research efforts.

  • JBS United Swine Records Program provides performance and economic farm data, resulting in better informed pork producer customers.

  • JBS United nutrition services include diet formulation, nutrition recommendations and product development. Our StrataPlan model is used for real-time, nutrition strategy development and pig management planning for maximizing economic returns.

  • United-Liuhe Company Limited, a joint venture company in China, manufactures and markets nutrition products to Chinese livestock and poultry producers. JBS United is experienced in meeting the nutritional and technical needs of our international customers.


Grain Division

Corn

  • Operates nine grain elevators in the U.S.

  • Merchandises grain to ethanol processors, feed mills, swine and poultry integrators and export markets.


Signature Farms

Farm

JBS United operates several pig production locations in the U.S. The main office is located in Rushville, Indiana.
